Die Düsseldorfer Künstlerin
und DAAD-Stipendiatin Lisa Lukas zeigt in einer Galerie in Kairo ihre
Adaptation der “Mashrabiyya”. Dieses filigrane Gitterwerk,
das ursprünglich den Frauen heimliche Blicke auf das öffentliche
Geschehen eröffnete, wird nun in Lukas großer Installation
aus Gips und Glas zum Kaleidoskop.
